We have been in Santa Catalina for a number of years walking past this local restaurant and finally made the effort to try it last Sunday !! Wow very upset to find out we have been missing out on such good local food at excellent prices.
We walked past at around 12.00 and it was empty we arrived back at 1.00 to find the restaurant was packed how ever we were ushered in by the elderly gentleman probably the father and asked to wait in the back a small waiting area, soon enough a table became vacant we sat and while bread and aoli arrived the menu was photocopied and you can see it below lots of choices of starters and mains.
I chose the snails and my partner took the fish paella a huge portion for a starter which we shared !
Having been on fairly strict vegetarian diets we both fancied the meat choice which was a good quality beef fillet and a pork cutlets with fried potatoes.
We both had the apple tart for pudding which came with ice cream also very good the wine was quite drinkable local red, all in all the bill was 17.00 a head with coffee and extra water, the menu in the week is 10 euros less choice but including wine water and desserts.
